Fly Station Japan (Pre-Open)

It’s the weekend and the drop zone is closed. What to do??
I guess we will stay indoors. AND Skydive! The Fly Station Japan indoor skydiving facility is scheduled to open in April of this year. The building is not completely finished as of yet, but they’ve got the actual wind tunnel part working. Apart from the staff training, the Tokyo Skydiving Club members were given the opportunity to give the tunnel a test flight.

You bet I was there! Unfortunately we cannot share pics or vids since it’s still under construction, so I have a convenient excuse not to show you my shaky flight.

Other beginners showed improvement across the board. The progression possible in a tunnel is phenomenal!

I was so hooked after my first try, I got another slot the following week.
Now I have a grand total of 42minutes in the tunnel.

I’m very excited for the development of body flight in Japan and expect to be a heavy user.
