The last time I was here, I had under 90 jumps and crash-landed on the tarmac. A year and something like over 160 jumps added to my belt between that mildly traumatic memory and now, I was ready to retake DeLand.
We spent the morning drinking coffee and goofing off waiting for the clouds to clear. But we may have goofed off a bit too much. Our first load ended up being load number 7.
Going up to altitude in twin otters is amazing. 15,000 feet in no time at all.
At first it was a bit confusing as to what was going on, but we got the hang of local rules real quick.
Despite the offset start, we got in a solid 4 jumps.
